In the early 90’s MTV had a show called the Real World and the tag line of the show was “you think you know but you have no idea”. Many of us think that we know all about life. We think that we have it all figured out. It’s interesting that in our world right now there are people who claim to be relationship coaches/gurus and people who find themselves as relationship masters but have never been married. They’ve never had a relationship that lasted more than 5 years. But they claim to be masters they claim to be people who know-it-all.

Transition Season
I don’t now about you, but I was looking forward to the transition of the year. The way 2021 ended was better than I could have ever hoped for. It felt as if God threw me an easy alley-oop and I caught it, went behind the back, added a windmill mid-air, slammed the ball through at the buzzer of the end of the first half, with the crowd going wild. Then 2022 or as it is being coined 2020, too.
Being Content vs Being Satisfied
Over the years I have heard many people speak of being content with your situation. This has often been in regards to times of feeling frustrated with not moving forward on certain passions and desires. I understand most times they mean well, but the context from which they speak does not fit the encouragement trying to be conveyed.
